Duties
  • In charge of a project team comprising of sufficient talent to take a project from conception to completion under the direction of the Managing Director.
  • Client liaison including correspondence, minutes of meetings etc.
  • Contractor/Supplier liaison including attendance at site meetings.
  • Consultant liaison.
  • Report to the Managing Director on staff performance within his or her group.
  • Report to the Managing Director on project matters.
  • Project design conceptualization for Managing Director's approval.
  • Design development.
  • Monitoring the design detailing.
  • Writing tender documentation.
  • Co-ordination and monitoring of presentation designs.
  • Design selection of furniture and materials, including checking of purchase orders and payment certificates.
  • Compilation of finishes, furniture and fixtures schedules.
  • Time planning and monitoring the progress of each phase throughout the project including producing regular project status reports.
  • Delegation of work within their group.
  • Monitor staff discipline and report to the Managing Director/ General Manager.
  • Instruct the administration staff in respect of project related administration.

SENIOR ARCHITECT DESIGNER
Duties
  • Design architectural concept and development under the supervision of the group leader.
  • Design and construction detailing.
  • Presentation drawing and draughting.
  • Perspectives sketches..
  • Co-ordination and selection of colour and sample boards.
  • Assist the group leader with correspondence, consultant/site meetings etc.
  • Site survey.
  • Checking the design detailing and draughting work produced by the designers and assistant designers.

  • Assist the senior designer in keeping the drawings in order.

Duties
  • Develop drawings of exterior / interior details.

  • Productions of working drawings and detailing under direct supervision of the group leader and designers.
  • Print drawings or organize such printing as directed by the group leader.
  • Assist in site survey work.
  • Assist the senior designer in keeping the drawings in order.
  • Assist in compiling specifications, finishes, furniture etc.

Duties
  • Maintain an orderly and up to date library with current books, catalogues and samples.
  • Contact suppliers and manufactures to constantly update the product information.
  • Find & provide samples as per designers' requests on time.
  • Make project spec sheets and sample boards as requested.
  • Collect quotations from suppliers and contractors.
  • Research new products and suppliers.
  • Collect and store all samples and catalogues on a daily basis left around the office.
